So what exactly will you find in our candles? If you ask the majority of candle companies this question, the sad truth is many don’t actually know the answer. Because we use only the simplest and purest ingredients, we are proud to know exactly what we are selling.
BEESWAX We use only pure beeswax that is naturally refined to remove its yellow color. Our beeswax comes from a global supplier that has every beekeeper trained in best beekeeping practices. Sustainability and health of the hive is of the utmost concern, because quality beeswax comes from healthy hives!
COCONUT OIL Pure expeller pressed coconut oil is sustainably sourced from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia and is the perfect creamy base to hold our essential oils.
PURE ESSENTIAL OILS Our therapeutic essential oils are generally collected through a distillation process that carefully separates the essential oil from the medium element where it is found.

We go beyond just what you breathe, we’re focusing on what we put on our body too!
Our Natural Bath Soaks, Lip Balms, and Soap Bars are a delightful treat. We’re using simple and pure ingredients, all listed on the packaging. Coconut oil and shea butter for hydration, ethically harvested beeswax, and our own blends of pure essential oils.
We were thinking about the environment when it comes to our packaging, using compostble and naturally bio-degradable materials, FSC certified papers, and vegetable-based inks.

How do we know your candles are as clean as you claim?
We believe what you breathe is just as important as what you eat when it comes to your health. Because we use only the simplest and purest ingredients, we are proud to know exactly what we are selling.
We are proud to be the first MadeSafe certified candle! The MADE SAFE seal confirms that a household product is free of any and all toxins known or suspected to harm human health, animals, or ecosystems.
Why can’t essential oil candles fill a room with scent?
Essential oils are extremely flammable so we are limited to how much oil we can use to scent our candles. Without the chemicals used in traditional fragrances, it is nearly impossible to make an essential oil candle that is as strong as a fragrance oil candle. We do market all of our candles as “lightly scented” in relation to the strength of a traditional fragrance oil candle. Even our “strong” options will smell light in comparison to most fragrance candles.
Are your candles safe for pets?
We love our fur babies here at Fontana, and we are proud that every one of our candles is 100% safe for pets. The concentrations of oils in the candles and wax melts are low enough that they do not cause issues.
Are the bees harmed for the production of your beeswax?
We buy our beeswax from a global supplier that has a Beekeepers trained in best beekeeping practices. Sustainability and the health of the hive is of upmost concern to our supplier, because the best quality beeswax comes from healthy hives!

Resolved delayed shipping… I feel bad for even writing a poor review in the first place!
UPDATE:My husband received a full refund for the candle after all. Fontana responded the next day after he contacted them, very apologetic for the shipping delay. Apparently the delay in shipping was due to Amazon. I honestly feel bad for ever writing such a poor review, as we love the candles and how they resolved this issue in the end. I love the company even more, now, and will definitely be purchasing again in the (very near) future. Thank you, Fontana, we very much appreciate your business and product.Original message:Very disappointed. My husband and I love Fontana and have bought several of their candles. I wanted to order one for my mom for her birthday, so my husband paid for expedited shipping so it would arrive by her birthday. Received a message on her birthday that the candle won’t arrive till a week later. And we won’t get a refund, according to the AI assistant.I don’t know if I can justify buying such expensive candles anymore, though I did love them for their scents and values. This customer service experience left such a poor taste in my mouth.

Great value and free from toxins
I purchased these Fontana candles because they are pure and the scents come from essential oils not synthetic fragrances which are filled with toxins that are hormone disrupters. The light fragrance might not be as strong but will not ruin your health and after a few minutes does smell stronger. These candles burn for 40 hours and I think that they’re a great value because of what they don’t contain. How much is your health worth to you???
