I bought this because it was the heaviest and most affordable option I could find, while also maintaining strong quality. I put the weighted blanket into a duvet cover so I would be able to wash it a little less.The quality is great! It doesn’t make too much noise, it’s soft, and the right amount of heavy when it’s laying on me. It is quite heavy to carry when folded which isn’t a problem for me but may be for some others. My duvet cover on it plays a role in this, but I also like that the weighted blanket doesn’t heat me up too much like other heavier blankets would. Overall, I’d definitely recommend.

My 2nd one of these: a comfort MUST-HAVE
I love, love, love these fleece weighted blankets from Bare Home. I’ve never had a weighted blanket feel as soft, luxurious, and substantial as this one. This is my second one (first was a gift). They are truly heavy, in a good way – in a soothing, warm hug type of way. I’m someone who struggles with anxiety (especially at nighttime) and I haven’t always loved going to bed, but I actually look forward to it now because my bed is so cozy with this amazing weighted blanket. The only thing to look out for is if you have a small dog that sleeps in the bed with you, it can be hard for them to maneuver underneath it so I always keep it askew to one side of the bed and roll up the other side so my dog can get in and out of the blankets as she needs to without struggle. I’ve tried other brands of weighted blankets, and they just didn’t compare to this one. Nowhere near as soft and comforting as this one. 10/10 highly recommend this blanket to anyone with anxiety or that is just looking to get a great night’s sleep.

This is a FABULOUS weighted blanket. The quality is above and beyond – one of the best online purchases I have ever made. What a great product for the price. It is beautiful.DIABETICS -you need to check with your doctor before using a WEIGHTED blanket. Do your research on the Internet – may not be ideal for anybody with onset of peripheral neuropathy, particularly of the legs and feet.. READ UP!

Worth It
Nice and heavy, and for a good price. Keep it centered on your bed, because it could slide off, taking the rest of your bed covers with it. Still glad I bought it — has improved my sleep quality considerably.

Absolutely love this weighted blanket. Gave me warmth on cold nights and most importantly a weighted blanket helped with stress and anxiety. It helps give me comfort of the heaviness to sleep and relax me. It was a lovely deep purple, great material. Very heavy. (i ordered the 17 pound one). Easy to clean.

Fantastic Weighted Blanket
I bought this weighted blanket for my boyfriend who enjoys weight on top of him. Even as a little kid he liked being tucked in tightly, it made him feel safe and secure. He uses it every night. He’s about 200 lbs so I bought the 25lbs. one. Weighted blankets can help soothe feelings of anxiety. I’ve slept underneath of it with him, and while I dislike the weight on my chest, I do really like it on my legs because I have either restless leg syndrome or something similar. My legs sometimes hurt all over and prevent me from sleeping. I’m planning on buying a throw size one for myself to see if it helps consistently when I have leg pain. It also doesn’t make you overheat in case you’re worried about using it in the summer. The cotton ones do attract dog hair and lint, so keep that in mind if that drives you crazy.

Amazing blanket, I’m 170lbs and got the 17lbs, works perfect if a tad heavy but I like it heavy. Love the velvet texture. Amazing for hard nights, emotionally but also physically like when ill.Recently my sister used my bed for a sleepover and the other girl loved my weight blanket so much I purchased her own for her birthday. She’s smaller than me by a lot but still loved the 17lbs, wasn’t too heavy.

7lb is perfect for an adult!
This is the perfect weight for an adult. The 20lb was too heavy, and made a person feel like they were being held hostage. This 7lb is the lighest weight I could find for the length. It adds just enough weight to be comfortable. Im not sure why they recommend for small children. Durable and comfy, unfortunately their site made it a bear to order the cover so I have yet to get it.

I just bought 2 more of these! Great weight distribution, super comfortble, attractive colors, and washes well. I wash everything before I use it, so in it went, cold gentle cycle with detergent and a dash of vinegar to set the color so it never runs or fades (important). It would take forever to hang dry and is too heavy to hang anyway so I popped it into the dryer with 2 dry bath towels. The blanket was perfectly dry in half an hour and my kid sleeping under it just 2 hours later. It was like magic watching this weighted blanket so gently confine, and then settle my wiggly ADHD child with restless legs. That’s the 10lb 40×60 green blanket. I love it, so the next day I got the velvety soft blue for my other kid (it’s gorgeous but might be too warm for some people, I suspect), and a 12lb 48×72 for myself. I chose not to get a queen because it is heavy, and I think a larger one would be awkward and cumbersome to position or adjust at night. Besides, I’m single. If I weren’t, I’d still consider 2 twins instead of a queen, personally. None of my family have been sleeping well lately but I look forward to some good rest tonight! As for choosing weight, I’d have definitely gone heavier years ago when my anxiety was super intense. For me now, the 12 lb twin blanket feels like I’m free to move but with resistance and it feels right. I’m a somewhat petite female. I had a great snuggle under it to try it out, and now it’s happily whirring in the washer.

This blanket has great weight distribution but it’s much smaller then I expected. I should have measured out the dimensions beforehand but I didn’t. It seems to be very good quality but it’s lap quilt size. I bought it for my daughters twin bed and it doesn’t really come close to fitting. We’ve decided to just fold it at the foot during the day and lay it over her when she goes to bed at night. It has definitely helped her sleep better during the night. She’s 4.
