Digs into Ankles, otherwise perfect
Review of: Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Neutral Running ShoeColor: Grey/Chateau Grey/PortabellaSize 7.5By measurement, I’m a size 7 regular/medium. Most of my exercise shoes are 7.5 regular, as is this one. The width is perfectly comfortable on me. Snug at first, but after 3 weeks of a lot of wear they feel incredible. Length is great, although just barely. The foot bed is soft but firm. Not squishy. I need a decent arch support and these are nice and high and sturdy. The color (see above) is gorgeous and will coordinate with anything. The heel stays put without sliding. The heel also has the new heel style that makes them easy to slide your feet into, and you don’t feel it at all when you point your toe. Great cushioning in the soles. I feel stable and straight with my slight overpronation. I immediately went on vacation when these shoes arrived, so I took a chance. I walked about 10,000 steps a day for 8 days! Including rushing through airports. These shoes felt amazing the entire time. Only took a couple of days to stretch just perfectly to my feet.At first they were digging into my ankles 🙁 It’s towards the front of the inner ankle on both shoes/feet. After an hour in them I had dents in the skin. It’s right at the point where the top shoe lace hole is. It’s a hard piece with no cushion. The Ghost 14 was not like this. However, I took those points and bent them backwards quite aggressively several times in the first day. I also loosened the laces all the way down the shoe, then tied them just a bit looser than I normally would. I wore them around the house for an entire day like this and they felt GREAT. Then I took them on my trip and had no issues. So I was able to completely solve that issue. I’ve seen others complain of the same thing. I have skinny ankles, a bit bony you might say. So it’s not an issue of my size. So although I do think the manufacturer should try to fix the issue, I was able to fix it myself.It’s a great shoe and I highly recommend.

Best Shoes Yet for Foot Pain Relieve (for me, from plantar fasciitis)!!
I love these shoes! I had another pair of Brooks, they were cheaper (I think Launch 11, IDK for sure). I loved those shoes! Thought they were the best, until I tried these. I have a lot of foot pain (plantar fasciitis) and these help so much. I really need to do more stretches but these shoes help get me through life even when I don’t take care of my feet like I should sometimes. They are light weight. Style is amazing, 10/10!! Value is okay, I mean it is a lot so I will have to see how long these last me. Size is the best!! The size is great for me as I have a hard time getting sizing right, I used to be a 9 or 8.5, now I have to order a 10 in everything since 2020… So these in a 10 are great, I did not have to order a wide size, and they give me plenty of room without being too big.

Great shoes
I did not want to buy these due to the price even though I know this is the going rate for good shoes. However, I am ecstatic that I did. They are super comfortable right out of the box. Went for a jog in them, no problem whatsoever. There is enough room in the toe box and my foot is supported. The shape is not terribly attractive but I bought the prettiest design I could. I wear an 11 & Amazon suggested an 11.5. I didn’t want to but it “warned me” this was the best size based on reviews and returns. Well, it was right. An 11 would have been too short in the toe box. Darned AI, even though it helped. Love these!

Good decision!
I’m usually all about saving money but I decided that I needed great shoes for the walking and exercise that I do. Good decision! They are very comfortable. I really don’t have to think about them when I’m wearing them, which is a good thing. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.I was able to get a wide width and went with a half size larger than I might ordinarily get. I have no idea if that would be the way to go for anybody else, but it worked for me.

Supportive shoes!!
Brook are good supportive shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and needed something that I could wear and be on my feet all day and they have worked very well. The only thing I wish is that maybe they had a few more colors. I have two pairs now and would order more if I got the right color I wanted. I always wear an 11 and I bought an 11 and they fit fine.

Found the perfect shoe…
The Brooks Ghost model shoe has been my go-to for the past 10 years (I started with Ghost 7). After years of trying every brand out there I came across Brooks Ghost a perfect shoe for my active lifestyle and never looked back. The Ghost 17 is even more stable and functional than previous years. I need ware an 11-wide and Ghost is perfect every time. I have converted my husband (use to be a NB and UA shoe guy because of their width) who loves the style and fit of the Ghost as well, going on 3 years.I would like a few more color options for the 11-wide size.

Great shoe
I was hooked on the Ghost 15 and tried these. There was no break in period. I tried the Hoka’s and they hurt my feet. But these, let’s just say I’ve found my new shoe of choice. These are the best shoes I’ve ever had. They even beat out the Ghost 15 and I thought that was impossible.

Very amazing experience and on the last day of available return it went through and within 2 hrs of drop off at the UPS Store I had a gift card refund.New product is in the mail already and the size of the shoe was wrong on my account. So a refund and new product all within 5 days.

Scarpe molto protettive, per carità, ma vestono strette, per pianta un po larga ho dovuto fare una allacciatura a finestra e metterle in posa con panni umidi arrotolati ed infilati all’ interno della scarpa per allargarle. Sono piuttosto pesanti. Misura 40.5 , poco meno di 300 grammi. Troppa gomma nell’ inetrsuola, troppo pesanti. La camminata risulta un po difficoltosa,per questo, con tutta quella gomma pesante. Peró da stabilità al piede , specie con archi alti, al momento dell atterraggio nella corsa lenta, la parte mediana interna del piede è sostenuta.È piu adatta aper correre che per camminare. Devo modificare la recensione. Do , non piu 3 stelle ma 5 stelle. Erano un po rigide forse perché appena uscite dalla fabbrica. Dopo un mese si sono adattate perfetta mente ai piedi. Sono comodissime e performanti Soddisfatta.
