I recently purchased the Geniani Heat Pad in XL size, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the company’s exceptional customer service! This heat pad has been a game-changer for soothing muscle aches and providing comforting warmth. The XL size is perfect for covering larger areas, and the quality is fantastic,soft, durable, and easy to use.Unfortunately, after six months, my heat pad stopped working. I reached out to Geniani’s customer service via email, not expecting much, but I was blown away by their response. They got back to me promptly within a day and, without any hassle, sent me a brand-new replacement heat pad. Life long Sunbeam purchaser but last two heating pads I bought were sporadic in working, this is the first time I bought a different brand. Works well (so far), consistent heat, auto shut off after 90 minutes, fabric very plush and soft on both sides.

This is called a “throw” but it is not anything like a lap blanket. It is a large heading pad. It has worked well for me. It was easy to use – very intuitive. It has an auto shut off, which is nice in case I fall asleep. My only complaint is that the setting for low seems to vary at times. Sometimes, it feels like low and other times it feels warmer, more like a medium or high. This doesn’t bother me as if it is too hot, I can turn it off. However, if a child or older adult or someone who is not aware of the heat uses it, then it could be too hot for them. It is much better than the one I purchased previously which did not turn on and flashed “F” at me the entire time. I definitely prefer this one!

Excellent heating pad. Heat temperature control consistent with level chosen. Warms very fast. Low setting quite adequate for ease of light back strain. Medium setting definitely for more pronounced discomfort. Same for the high setting. Good quality and value. Lovely subdued color choices.

Update- BROKE AFTER A MONTH OF USE ***(please skip to end of review)
While this heating pad gets HOT, you don’t have to worry about getting burned (the last heating pad I had- I got some serious second-degree burns and bad blisters). There are three heating levels. Please see the photos of the timer- it is pretty simple to use- low, medium, and high.I didn’t like that there is no timer on the heating pad- and it seems to turn off after an hour or two (I never have really kept track). But I use a heating pad most- at night- and the fact I don’t know how long it takes to turn off- which means the lack of a timer isn’t a bothersome feature with this pad. After almost a month- I don’t think the feature is as important as I once thought.What I loved was that the night this heating pad broke, I ordered this one and had it in under 12 hours. I like to have heating pad access 24/7- so when the one I had broke after about a month and a half- I picked one out that was cheap and that would come quickly. Because it seems, no matter how much I choose to pay for a heating pad- none of them last me long. Why not try a cheap one after the expensive one broke after a month and a half?The one that lasted the longest was the only one I got for free- from my insurance (a few years ago). And it was the cheapest of the bunch. The most expensive one- gave me second-degree burns (with warnings I finally found out was in the fine print- the very very fine print they later pointed out to me) and broke after a month and a half. So I will see how this one lasts- so far so good.The heating pad size is overly large- as you can see in my photos- I took three larger paperback books and set them on the pad and there was still room on it- width-wise. The cover of the heating pad is also nice- and very comfortable. I also included a photo of the controller.I would encourage others, as I do with all heating pads after being burned- if you are using the beating pad on your bare neck or shoulders, even your back- don’t fall asleep the first few times until you are sure your body can take the heat. You never know- the other pad wasn’t even set to that high of a level (a five out of nine) when it burned me- it just got that hot. However, this heating pad has not done anything like that to me- I just always warn others now- just to be safe.I have had this heating pad for a month in a few days. So far I have had no issues, other than the fact there is no timer and that has not bothered me as it stays on long enough for me to fall asleep. I would say this is a great heating pad that can come to you quickly (if you make the right selections). And for a rough user- this one is still in good shape. However, if and when I have issues I will update this review accordingly below (and with a loss of stars, if needed).And if you’re thinking of this item as a gift for anyone- I think you are an angel as I would love to be gifted heating pads as a present. Anything for a pain sufferer that can help- and heating pads do work (as a pain sufferer I know this to be true)!Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions you may have about this item. However this heating pad gets the award for breaking the fastest.So, unless you want to pay to possibly use a heating pad for a few days after it most likely could have been returned (like I want to deal with that drama- returning it)- try another one. I find many heating pads too hot even on the lowest level, but this one is perfect. Sometimes I have even had to turn it up to two which means I actually have a choice in the temperature.(This may not be true for everyone since my tolerance for heat seems to be much lower than average.)Also I appreciate the quality and the softness of the material. The choice of colours was a bonus as well since I could purchase a colour that matches my decor and looks less like a health care product.

I bought this heating pad when I thought my old one broke, and chose not to return it when my old one was fixed! It’s a great size, and so plush, it has great range for heat, and the auto turn off is the perfect length of time. I use this daily and recommend for the price!
