Tough Mudder tested — 10/10
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose these specifically for a Tough Mudder 15K. I needed something lightweight, trail-ready, and supportive enough for hours of running, climbing, and wading through deep mud — and they delivered big time.I absolutely adore these shoes. They held up through 15K of mud, water, obstacles, and nonstop movement. I was knee-deep in 2.5 feet of mud for much of the race, and not once did they slip, rub, or make my feet ache. The tread was fantastic for trail grip, and the arch support was just as good as what I get from my Danskos or Brooks — which I wear daily at my hospital job where I’m on my feet for 8+ hours.These didn’t just survive the course — they thrived on it. No blisters, no soreness, and they cleaned up surprisingly well post-race. Highly recommend for anyone doing obstacle races, trail runs, or just needing a solid, supportive shoe for long days.

Very comfortable – great grip for non-slipping on rough terrain; and good water resistance
These shoes are very comfortable for hiking/walking distances. Their grip is great, so you won’t be slipping and sliding if you are on rougher and/or rockier terrain. They are definitely water resistant as it rained in Alaska the whole time I was outside in these, and my feet stayed warm. I didn’t ever submerge them, but in rain, they stayed warm and dry. The only drawback is that they look very large on your feet.

Sizing is awful but good shoes
The shoes are super nice but there sizing is awful. I usually wear a size 8.5 and that’s the size I ordered first. Wore them twice and couldn’t figure out why my feet and legs hurt so bad until I really I realized my toes were so cramped. So I figured ok they run small. I was to late to return the 8.5 so I ordered the 9 thinking it’ll work great and fit great. I’m convinced the 8.5 is actually labeled wrong because the 9 is almost to big. It works but it’s annoying when you think about it because they shouldn’t be as loose as they are if the 8.5 is as small as it is. I’ll wear the 9 because they work but the sizing is absolute trash.

Tough shoes, but can be difficult to break in
These shoes seem very tough -they are pretty heavy and stiff – saying that, they are pretty comfortable. We got them for a trip to Mongolia where we didn’t know what to expect in terms of terrain. These handles everything perfectly. I expected these to sort of break in after over a week of constant use, but they stayed the exact same shape and quality as the day that I got them. They got a little dusty, but they still look brand new.

Hike away!
Really comfortable walking/hiking (simple hiking), shoes. Nice they can be thrown in the washing machine and not fall apart. They dry quickly, very important, grip the ground well, and cleaning the bottoms off isn’t too bad. The arch support is a little weak, but it’s difficult to generally fit everyone’s feet. I’d say they’ve been a great value for my money as I have walked in them for many miles, and the tread, fabric, and laces are still like new.

Déçue après 2 randonnées d’une vingtaine de kilomètres. Pas d’amorti ressenti, par ailleurs la semelle de propreté n’est pas confortable. Je vais essayer de la remplacer, mais globalement ces chaussures ne répondent pas à mes attentes.
