Great affirmation cards – super encouraging
I have a LOT of affirmation card decks – I like to use them in a lot of ways. It’s nice to pull a card on a day when I need some encouragement, but I also love using them in my art journals, on the front of handmade greeting cards, and other crafting and art projects. This is a really nice set. The look and feel of the cards is pretty basic – black and pink in a few different typeset styles. But the affirmations are really great. I find myself instantly encouraged just by opening the box. I’ve got one on my desk, one next to my bed to see when I wake up, and one in my wallet to give myself encouragement whenever I’m working with or spending money. The main objection I have is that on the printed cards, the swear words are edited with a * replacing one of the letters so it’s not fully spelled out. I totally understand why that choice was made, but I do think it makes the affirmation not quite as strong as it could be.

A Little Box of “You Got This” For Bad Days
I picked up this deck of affirmation cards during a week that could only be described as a Monday that lasted seven days. My first thought was, okay, are these going to be genuinely uplifting or just a bunch of clichés that make me roll my eyes? I was pleasantly surprised. The cards are a good, sturdy weight—they feel nice in your hand and not flimsy at all. The illustrations are modern and cute without being too juvenile.I keep them on my desk now. On mornings when my motivation is hiding under the couch with lost hair ties and crumbs, I pull one. There’s something about physically holding a card with a simple, positive statement that actually does hit different than just reading something on a screen. My current favorite is “I am a magnet for good things,” which I choose to believe includes finding matching socks and my keys. I really hope the corners don’t get bent up with daily use because I plan on keeping these around for a while.Pros:· The card quality is excellent; they feel durable and well-made.· The messages are actually relatable and feel sincere, not cheesy.· It’s a simple, quick way to pause and reset a negative mindset.Cons:· The box, while cute, isn’t the most heavy-duty for tossing in a bag.· Some messages might feel repetitive if you use them every single day.· It’s a personal thing, so not every card will resonate with everyone every time.If you need a small nudge of positivity or know someone who does, this is a lovely, tangible little gift. It’s like a best friend whispering a pep talk in your ear, but in card form. For those who already have them, you probably already have your go-to card that always makes you smile.
