A Little Piece of Heaven 🤩
I’d been wanting to try a weighted blanket ever since my daughter in-law brought hers down at our family Christmas morning gathering last year and wrapped it around me.I began doing the research, mainly looking for quality materials and non toxicity, though a bit pricy, Baloo has fit the bill perfectly and is worth the money! After all, a blanket is something you use every day, not just occasionally.The surprising part came the very first night, instead of an adjustment period, I experienced such comfort and a sense of ease, even bordering on wellbeing, come over my entire body. I noticed it helped my mind settle down too.I’ve long dealt with sleep and pressure pain issues from fibromyalgia, now also adding sjorgrens to that these last 7 years. These health challenges really mess with deep sleep and the ability to stay asleep, thus creating the need for a daily, non negotiable afternoon nap. Because of pressure sensitivity issues I chose the 12lb throw. I thought it might not be heavy enough, but I quickly found I wouldn’t want it any heavier as it’s perfect!Within a couple days I noticed a significant improvement in both deepness of my sleep and not waking up as often during my sleep, both during the night and the daytime nap also. It’s also a plus that I’ll be able to wash it myself at home!I do highly recommend Baloo weighted blankets for anyone looking for a deeper, more comforting night’s sleep. I’m very glad to have found Baloo and their products!

It does make a difference
I have never tried a weighted blanket before. The 15 pound bed size blanket feels heavy when lifting , but is just right once you are in bed. It really makes a difference , I now sleep deeply with less tossing /turning. And does NOT make me hot. Seems to be a good temperature regulator. Enjoying it alot!

Helped a sleep deprived college student!
College-aged son was having trouble sleeping, this really helped him! It doesn’t 100% solve the problem but it’s helping far more than I thought it would. He said he can even nap under it now and still fall asleep at night whereas before if he accidentally fell asleep while studying during the day, he would struggle to sleep at night.

Finally!! The perfect weighted blanket!!
Prior to finding Baloo brand, I purchased several other weighted blankets and was quickly displeased with the fabric and the way beads bunched up in pockets. I actually hate polyester bedding and also considering the hot summers where I live I knew they would be a nightmare. I searched all over for 100% cotton weighted blankets, found one that said it was cotton but had a polyester fill.. NO WAY!! Well luckily I found the Baloo brand and realized the cost is higher due to the quality of materials and better design and assembly. Before Black Friday came I first purchased the Silver Sage in 15lbs. I truly loved it! But aesthetically it would look wonky with my bedroom colors. I originally wanted a blue one but since they didn’t have it I settled. Later I got the blue linen duvet cover which was alright and used all the ties. The duvet still slipped at night.. I then wondered if I needed a heavier weight so I returned the silver sage, kept the duvet and got a 20lb in pebble white. That weight was a dream come true and put me to sleep almost faster but I also learned to put my comforter on top of the Baloo blanket instead. After many nights the duvet on the weighted blanket still slipped around and shifted which was annoying. I also noticed that I was waking up with sore shoulders and neck if I slept with the blanket up to my neck as sleeping sideways. I read other reviews and realized that I should stick with the 15lb blanket and in doing so that’s when I saw there was a new one in a Navy Blue!! This was what I wanted originally so I was excited and didn’t need a duvet that would shift around. I still tried the 20lb out a few more days and liked it but still was a bit too heavy to pull on the bed and plus since I have a black kitty I didn’t want all his hairs to show up. I cleaned off the pebble white blanket amd will be returning it. The Luna blue color is absolutely beautiful and it’s the perfect weighted blanket that makes all my dreams come true 💙 also I am keeping the box 🙂 as you can see my Panther loves it and its the perfect size for him too!It’s literally taken me YEARS to create my natural bed. It is not cheap and is a lot healthier and suggest others do the same as our health is contingent on our sleep. Worth every penny and definitely worth the weight! . I highly recommend this brand due to the sustainable and all natural materials and quality . I will probably purchase from their website a throw or something if I can get on discount. Someone else did mention they had shoulder pain with the 20lb blanket so keep that in mind depending how you sleep.

Breathable material & good weight to it
This is a bit more pricey than some other weighted blankets here. Yet This one is made of cotton so it ” breathes ” well, I dont like “microfiber” and “polyester” as both of these materials are literally made from left over materials from processing crude oil into gasoline. Its a horrible non breathable material which is why ppl get the impression that its warm, yes because its suffocating your skin. Horrible in any clothing , etc..yet..this one is 100% cotton and you can immediately feel that its warm but allows airflow, they 12 pounds of weight you feel immediately when you get it. I got mine to help with my Restless Legs Syndrome and its helping me rest a bit when my RLS isnt super bad. I got the throw blanket which I double up to increase the weight felt on my legs. It is white so be careful of spills or whatever. but its also filled with tiny glass beads ,not sand at all…Like some of the cheaper ones. The stitching is decent but its not double stitched which may have been better just to ensure it lasts over time and thru washing over time. I havent washed it just yet as I use it on top of my comforter..so it doesnt get exposure to get dirty as quickly…I will have 2 see how it holds up over time….n thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars. First impressions n 5 nights have been good. But time will tell.

I had contacted customer service when looking for a weighted blanket although could not find chemical free cotton that is cool and breathable all year round, available for purchase in canada. They shared they were going make they would notify me when it occurred with great follow through. No surprises with exchange rate, duties and it arrived within a few days after purchase. It is beautifully made and very soft. Obviously good quality and I love that I covers my bed and is long covering my feet as well as being able to be pulled up high to snuggle around my neck, unlike the throw style. Premium quality for sure. Upon opening I felt like I was receiving a gift and absolutely love how they displayed the free gift. Thank you Baloo for making this cozy eco friendly product available for us in canada

Recibí esta manta la semana pasada y estoy alucinando. Es muy relajante y me ayuda a conciliar el sueño mucho más rápido. Normalmente me cuesta coger el sueño teniendo que tomar tés o suplementos especiales, pero con esta manta he encontrado que ya no los necesito. This is a lovely blanket. So glad I did a lot of research on line before purchasing. No odour, soft luxurious cotton fabric. Makes no noise at all. Called customer service before purchased and actually spoke to a person that was able to answer my questions and assist with my purchase. This blanket actually helps me sleep. Glad I chose organic cotton weighted blanket by Baloo!
