A post-surgery must have!
This pillow set was a lifesaver after my back surgery. There are so many ways to position the cushions for comfort and support. I honestly couldn’t have lied flat after surgery, so having this soft, adjustable support made all the difference. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone recovering from surgery or dealing with back pain! I especially loved using the wedge on the side of my body for extra support — it made rolling onto my side much easier and kept me from moving too far in the wrong direction.

Comfy but space consuming
It is a chronic nightly battle for me to stack pillows and try to find a comfortable position to sit up and read a book. Some nights I get it perfect and other nights I can’t get comfortable no matter what I do! So, when I saw these orthopedic pillows, I thought maybe this would be the perfect solution for me! The pillows come vacuum-packed flat and need at least 48 hours to fully expand once you’ve unpacked them. This is actually 4 different pillows for you to arrange and customize and adjust to suit you and they attach to one another by velcro. They include a head roll and a wedge for under your knees. The pillows are well-made, and the covers are removable for washing. I have tried different configurations that include moving the head pillow down to my lower back which may or may not work for some people. I generally use it for sitting upright in bed to read or get on the computer, but I have used it a couple of times for sleeping for a few hours and it worked surprisingly well to allow me to sleep in an upright position. It may also come in handy later this month after my surgery during my recovery period. I don’t usually use the knee wedge, but I think it could be helpful for many others.Cons: The head roll pillow is definitely not like it is portrayed in the pictures. It is a rather flat and flimsy pillow which actually works well for me (I don’t like thick pillows) but is probably too flat for many people. Also, the whole set-up is rather bulky and space consuming when not in use. That may be fine for a single person like me but may be inconvenient for some couples.Overall, it’s been useful. Time will tell whether or not I decide that the amount of space that it takes up is worth it to me. I think it is definitely a great option for those who have to sleep upright for health reasons.

As someone who’s spent decades working through an autoimmune disease that causes constant musculoskeletal issues, I’ve had to deal with aching in my neck, back, hips, and knees. Getting comfortable enough to fall asleep has always been a struggle, and I’ve tried just about everything, including sleeping on the floor or in a chair. I’ve been using another BDEUS set for a while, and it’s been excellent, but this new 4-piece set is even better because it’s wider. That extra width makes a significant difference when trying to find a comfortable position to rest in.Key Features & My Take:- Customizable Support: I sleep propped up, and these cushions give me the exact support I need. You can arrange the different pieces for your back, legs, or for reading. My specific setup, along with my neck pillow, helps me fall asleep faster and stay comfortable all night.- Built to Last: The pillows feel solid. The backrest is made with memory foam, and the bottom cushions have a high-density sponge that gives firm support. They handle daily use.- Ready to Use: There’s no assembly. Give them a few hours to fully expand from the vacuum-packing, and you’re good to go. Smell: No toxic odor, I noticed, and I would have. Wouldn’t hurt to let them air out and expand for a day. Except they did smell a slight smell of good tea while unpacking.- Practical Design: The non-slip bottom and Velcro straps keep everything in place, so I’m not constantly readjusting. The side pockets are handy for holding a phone or remote.- A Word on Care: The covers can be unzipped and machine-washed, which is a must. The white material shows any spills and dirt easily, so if you’re prone to clumsy accidents like me with a grape electrolyte drink, you might want extra protection. I’m looking for some large, colored, cotton, durable pillowcases to fit.- Value for the Money: This set is an excellent value. Considering the pain relief and quality materials, they’re worth every penny for anyone who needs solid, reliable support for a better night’s sleep.Take care.

Like it a lot. Takes several days to off-gas and expand properly, after which you have a multi-functional assortment of bed wedges. Do be aware, they will take up a significant amount of space when they are not on a bed. You will need someplace to put them when you want to use the bed for something like, say, sleeping.

Excellent Quality and Comfort — Much Better Than Similar Brands!
I’m really impressed with this wedge pillow set! I’ve purchased a similar style from another brand before, but this one is so much better in both comfort and quality. The memory foam is supportive without being too firm, and the covers are soft, breathable, and easy to remove for washing.I love that the set includes multiple pieces that can be adjusted for different positions — perfect for reading, sleeping, or relaxing. The versatility really sets it apart. I bought it in preparation for post-sinus surgery recovery, and I can already tell it’s going to be incredibly helpful for keeping my head elevated comfortably through the night.This set is a little big, so it’s harder to store, but I’m guessing you could put it in a vaccum bag and it would decompress. It’s very lightweight and easy to move around to different positions. I like that the velcro holds the pieces in place, which helps it to provide and maintain it’s support for your body in whatever position you need.
