An astonishing dress
I’m very particular about clothes, and I’m astonished at the quality and fit of this dress. All the seams have been turned over and stitched, well constructed; it even has darts. I’ve seen garments for a lot more money that were not as well constructed as this dress. Cotton fabric is a comfortable weight, nice casual texture, just like in the picture. “Yellow” is a pleasant soft yellow ochre or Dijon mustard color. I put it on and it simply fit! (I did order a size up.) I was not expecting this at all. Ordering a brand I’d never heard of on Amazon, and having returned many items previously because they were cut weird, or the fabric was weird, or the construction was terrible, my expectations were low. I ordered with the expectation I’d have to alter it, but I was mistaken. I am still in shock at how great this dress is. Comfortable, flattering, material is a great weight, well constructed. Incredible value. Haven’t washed it yet, but anticipate cold water hand wash and hang to dry should work fine.

Good casual dress for summer
Ordered this with the hope that it is an a-line dress, roomy and comfortable for summer wear in a cotton/linen fabric that breathes. Wow, no disappointment here! It is exactly what I wanted.My size is L to XL in most things…..I don’t want tight clingy things for summer wear (Florida….summer nearly year long) so I took a chance with the XL. Gosh, it is spot on the size, almost too large for me. The length is a few inches short of my ankles (5’8″) and the width across the bust is much larger than I need ( I can take in the armholes a bit to get rid of the extra…..not a big deal). The material is cotton, sturdy and not see-through….yet lightweight…..a good well-made dress. And one really picky point here, I am an American-sized woman with a longer than average torso…..which means that dresses sometimes assume I don’t need longer armholes or straps to fit comfortably (plainly said…my boobs are not up around my armpits…they are down a little further on my chest….so I need straps that center the darts and armholes around that area….not up near my neck!) This dress works beautifully…..everything is centered where I need it to be. Very happy about that…..this is what makes the dress comfortable for me. Again the size is a bit big but I’m ok with that.I chose the pink dress…..and wow, is it hot pink! I like it….nothing subtle here…..and I can wear it around the house or out to the grocery store or shopping…..in Florida we are casual and comfortable so it’s not a dressy dress but with a little embellishment could be dressed up for a casual night out…..long string necklace, wrap across the shoulders and you are set…..you go girl! I like it so much I ordered the yellow mustard dress too….same size.In summary, this is an a-line dress…..true to size….long and comfortable…..fabric is cotton so wearability and washability are all good……a good casual choice for going out shopping or staying in during the brutal heat of summer.

Comfortable cotton dress
comfortable and easy to wear. Like the pockets, color, and although there is no tag inside (?), it seems to be of cotton as stated in the description. It doesn’t feel polyester or some other unnatural material which I don’t want to wear. Fits true to size and isn’t sheer in the green color.

Great qulity- size up for oversized fit
The dress was not as “oversized” as advertised. I recommend sizing up if you want a flowy, oversized fit. I am 5’2 “, a 12-14 pant size, and a 36G in the bust. I originally ordered a size large, but it was very tight around my chest and in the armpits. Great quality of material and feels great on once you get the size right!

The easiest dress!
This is not linen but acts like it for the most part. I got a medium, my normal size, but the arm holes were a bit loose. I washed and dried it and it shrunk the smallest bit, but perfect enough in the arms and length for my frame. I’ve napped in this, packed in suitcase, and it does not wrinkle badly (this is where the benefit of not being linen comes in). Threw it on after a beach house shower for dinner at an oyster bar, dressed it up with cute sandals and jewelry. Traditional and classy. And the price point is great at $26. No doubt, will buy another!ETA: I’ve since bought two more colors!!For those interested, I measured how much it shrunk when washed cold and dried on low. Size M and I’m 5′ 3″, lying the garment flat: shrunk 1″ across from underarm to underarm. Shrunk 2″ across from (top of) pocket to pocket. Shrunk about 4″ in length, top of strap to bottom hem. While the original length was fine (at my ankles) this is still nice for my height. Something to consider for your height and care of the item.

Sizes and colors vary! You’ll just have to buy and try
For reference, I am 5’4”, 130, 55yo, 36C, fairly slim, mom shaped. I listened to reviewers who said this runs small. Following their advice, I got a M and a L just in case and I could’ve used it for a tent! Also, one dress was turquoise and the other was teal. No biggie for me bc I love both those colors, but it was weird the color varied so much. See picture. So I ordered a S (my normal size) and even an XS. They were each different colors too! The XS was real and the S was turquoise. Weird again! The XS fit me best, but was a hair tight across the bust and the fabric has no stretch. It went to just above my ankles. Anyone shorter than 5’4” might find it too long. The S bagged too low at the armpits and showed too much of my bra. It was not as soft as I’d prefer and the style did nothing for me, tho it was airy and comfy. I debated keeping it, but I’ll return and hope I find something better for me.

I’ve had poor experiences with ordering clothing from Amazon – too often, clothing listed as 100% linen or cotton shows up made of synthetic materials, which I cannot wear, and is returned. For that reason, I stopped ordering clothing several years ago.However, I saw a lot of positive reviews on this summer sundress and decided to take a chance…I’m absolutely DELIGHTED with this 100% cotton sundress! It is exactly as advertised. The fabric is a decent weight cotton and will be comfortable throughout the summer without being see-through. The seams, arm and neck holes, and hem are stitched properly and well finished.I’m really glad I made this purchase, and will likely be ordering the dress in a different colour as well.
