Nice foundation from Clinique
Beautiful foundation for everyday. I used to swear by Clinique products about 10-15 years ago before graduating to more high end brands ( one in particular that doesn’t even make make makeup products anymore ) gave this a try and was extremely impressed in the value. It’s a slightly viscous formulationbut still thin enough for my liking with sun protection in the formula as well for added skin protection. This formula would work great on mature, dry, and normal skin types in my opinion. Combo too just set accordingly.

Bad start, great finish!
I bought 2 different shades and this one arrived to me already opened 🤢. It looks as though someone else used it and wiped the opening off. Now as far as the actual product, totally different outcome! I’ve been on the search for a foundation for a while now. This is my first time trying Clinique and deriving from the 1st bottle ~>it’s a great foundation! Not too heavy nor too thin , it’s giving me the perfect amount of coverage. 🥰For the past 2 years or so the spots, dots and splotches on my face (mostly sun damage) have become much more noticeable. I’ve never been a huge makeup person and I don’t like the look of heavy foundation at all. So, I believe that I have found my perfect partner! I have somewhat dry skin and it gives just enough moisture to hydrate my skin without it feeling greasy. It absorbs in good time and best of all it doesn’t feel sticky 🙏.I poured the contents of the what appeared to be an opened bottle into a different bottle and I’m just going to happily carry on! My search is over! 2+ yrs and several $$ later.By the way, I don’t usually write reviews. I’ve maybe written 2-3 in my whole life and I’m almost 60y/o. So, yeah, it’s that good 😊 👍

Good foundation
Good foundation. Goes on smoothly not cakey at all. I had no skin reaction and it made my skin look youthful. Hides the imperfections. A nice array of colors to match my skin tone.

The product is good but the shade guide is way off
The foundation is a excellent consistency. Doesn’t go on greasy and is very smooth. The only problem I have and it’s not really because of the product itself, it’s the shade guide that is offered is way off. I lined up the shade very close to my skin type and had family members even view it and it looked perfect but when I put the shade on it was really dark. I really can’t use the one I purchased. I will have to purchase a lighter shade. It’s just too bad that the shade guide doesn’t work real well.

Make up base
This make up is a base that covers well, however, it appears oily and comes off easily clothes you pull over your head to get off. It does come off clothes easily in the laundry.Due to the oily nature of the make up, which makes it feel heavy; I only use it occasionally.

Love my Clinique Even Better Makeup. It feels so light on your face you almost forget your wearing makeup. This color looks very close to my natural skin tone that it evens out everything without looking like I’ve covered my face with anything. Never breaks me out, very natural look. The quality of this makeup is amazing!!

Like the Color Selection–However…
I started using Clinique makeup products back during my college days and that was several decades ago. The product line has been around for a long time and evolved since then with more to offer. I like that the Clinique Even Better makeup has a wide selection of shades, more so than some makeup brands. Plus there is a range of shades in cool, neutral and warm to compliment various skin undertones. Since it is in a plastic container it lessens the chance of breakage too like some glass makeup bottles if they slip and fall off a counter, etc. I also like that the makeup contains some sunscreen, although I do wear additional sunscreen in a higher SPF than what is in the makeup for extra protection–especially if I am going to be outside in a lot of sunny conditions. The makeup covers okay–however, no makeup alone can always do wonders for acne or severe wrinkles–sometimes those issues need to be addressed first. Unless you have naturally oily skin you may not need moisturizer underneath to facilitate spreading. However, I have found the product to be a little dry at times and moisturizer or a moisturizing sunscreen as a primer can help prevent drag and facilitate spreading. Depending on where you purchase it cost can vary–thus the 4 stars (sometimes I can find a good bargain).
