Awesome for Lengthy Walking on Waxed Floors
These shoes are sooo comfortable for lengthy walking. I work in a hospital and have to walk on average over 6,000 steps or more, daily.After two weeks of wearing, the leather has loosened to a great fit. They were tight at first, so I would suggest breaking them in before wearing for lengthy walking.The leather did crease slightly in the lower toe area, however the crease does not take away from the look of the shoe.I have worn the “no show” socks with these. You will need to play around with them, but they work with these loafers. I wear these loafers with dress slacks with an average hem (I’m 5’7).If these shoes came in a different color than what is offered, I would buy a pair in each. My back no longer hurts and my feet/ankles don’t swell with all the walking and stair climbing.Comfortable is the first for 5 stars, Fit is the 2nd 5 starts, shoe quality and value for the money are the following 5 stars.As for slip resistance, due to the floors (waxed) I am walking on in a hospital setting, there is no issue with slipping.

The shoes are very well made. I took a chance on the gold color for the price and I did not regret it. the width works well with my broken arch. I highly recommend.

Classic penny loafer but you might need to size down half
I always can trust Cole Haan to be comfortable and this penny loafer is no exception. I got the gold tone and for $49, it’s really a great deal. It can be dressed up and down. And it’s a classic style. I usually wear a size 8 but I had to exchange to a size 7.5 regular

Quality shoe
Okay, I’m giving five stars basically on looks alone because they didn’t fit and I have to try the next size up. The last pair of shoes I bought from this brand were a comfy 9 wide, so I tried that for these, too. Unfortunately, these were too narrow and too short. I hope the 9.5 wides fit! I’ve tried other loafer brands recently and would say that these are a much better quality leather. The black leather was not too shiny and not too dull, just a natural looking leather, which is exactly what I wanted. They also have a classic heel–other loafers I have tried in this round of shoe hunting have been fully rubber, giving a more casual look than I wanted. Fingers crossed on the next size up.*Edit – the 9.5 wide fit. They will definitely take some breaking in as they’re pretty stiff. No-show socks are standing by!
