Strong smell initially but then really good blanket
Blanket is very soft and heavy which my son really likes. I did have a slight chemical smell for 2 days after opening the package but this did clear once it was able to fluff up

SOOOOO SOFT!
SOOOOOO SOFT!I’ve wanted a weighted blanket for a long time but never found one I thought suited me. I got the pastel rainbow fur one for my queen sized bed. I didn’t realize weighted blankets weren’t meant to drape over the edge of the bed so it doesn’t really fit my bed like I expected, but I get why. Safety as well as economy. If they had this in a king size I’d buy it in a heartbeat. :)Having said that, this blanket is wonderful. Far exceeded my expectations in look, comfort, and how much it would help me sleep. The material seems sturdy, though the faux fur will make it a challenge to clean but I’ll manage.

Perfect For An Autistic Teenager
This blanket is super cute and perfect for me as an autistic person. I really like the weight of blankets, but during summer, it’s not exactly ideal to use three blankets. That’s why this is the perfect choice for me. It’s super comfortable, and I find it hard to want to get out of bed because it’s so comfortable. It feels like having someone hug you, but it’s also not too heavy. My cat likes it too, so that’s definitely a plus. Overall, it’s a nice blanket, it has a cute color scheme, and it’s very comfortable!

HEAVENLY!
This blanket is everything I’d hoped it would be and more. The colors are gorgeous. It is soo soft on both sides. The 48 x 72 size is great for cuddling into on the couch, but also for generously covering my side of our queen size bed at night. The fifteen pounds is heavier than I expected and feels very comforting and soothing. One thing I worried about was whether it would be too hot (I’m in Florida 🥵), but it’s not at all. We have many other blankets that are thinner but make me overheat. This must have some magical built-in breathability because it doesn’t make this post menopausal woman hot, just calm and cozy.If it has any downsides I suppose they would be that 1) it’s pretty heavy so moving it every day from sofa to bed might not be for everyone so maybe keep it in your preferred spot, and 2) washing suggestions are to either spot clean or use commercial washer. I’ll gladly take it to the laundromat once every so often. It’s totally worth it!

Heard using one could be helpful to get to sleep!
It was true for me after getting the package without issues or items falling out of it. It feels good! On my first night I found myself going to sleep and staying asleep till morning when my dog woke me up. I find using it – is like a hug from a loved one and if one’s mind is quiet – it is very helpful in falling asleep. Keeps one warm and Love the color I got – purple. Per size it almost covers the whole top of a queen bed but meets my needs of having it surround me to assist me in falling asleep.

It sheds a little bit from the fur on the top but nothing too serious, it’s good quality and well made! Not machine washable which is a little annoying but that shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t get it super messy. Very soft, heavy but not too heavy!
