Big glass jar well wrapped
Nice size glass jar came wrapped with many layers bubble wrap. No scent. Had a little scoop on top lid. A seal plate over cream. A little goes a long way. I feel it is on greasy side for what I was hoping. Thought it might smell good. Just tallow slight smell. Very little to notice. My skin did seem to like it so I’m happy. Nice big jar. My skin feels better.

You won’t be disappointed!
Fantastic product. I’ve been using a different brand that was a balm and it was great but I wanted to try a whipped one. This product goes on much nicer and felt immediately moisturizing. There’s a bit of graininess to it but it melts down quickly. I use this on my hands and feet at night. With socks afterwards. Tallow has been the only product to keep my heels from cracking. No scent. Quantity is a huge bonus. Clean ingredients. It’s a win win.

Honey Balm w/ only 5 ingredients!
Skin type: NormalThere’s only 5 ingredients used for this honey balm. The ingredients include olive oil, grass fed beef tallow manuka honey, calendula, and organic vitamin E. I’ve applied this balm on my lips during the day without having to reapply after a few hours and they feel moisturized. I’ve also applied around my chest but had to rub for awhile for the cream to apply. Enjoyed the natural glowy effect but would’ve loved if the cream sank to my skin better.

Rich, creamy balm
The Earth Guru Tallow Balm is a thick, creamy balm that is great for your face, neck, décolleté or hands. This balm has an incredibly thick, whipped texture that literally melts into the skin. I am a beauty product junkie and I have tried plenty of creams, lotions, concoctions and salves over the last 20 years of my skin care journey.I am in my early 40’s, I have pretty “normal” skin and suffer from hormonal acne so I am pretty careful of the products I use in my skin care routine. What I liked about this balm is the extremely MINIMAL ingredients, they don’t even include an antibacterial or antifungal (which is standard in most face/body creams/lotions, usually companies use a product called “Germall” to prevent bacteria growth in their products). I am guessing that is why a tiny scoop is included with the balm to scoop the desired amount out of the jar…just be conscious of keeping that little scoop clean prior to scooping the balm! With that being said, because they do not use any kind of preservative, I would give this balm 6 months after opening before you should dispose of it, keeping it in the fridge may help prolong its lifetime. Since there are no preservatives, tallow can become rancid, just like any natural oil or fat, just something to keep in mind.Just because this product is made with tallow, doesn’t mean the tallow didn’t go through a refining process. For tallow(or lard for that matter, which is the porcine equivalent of tallow) to become usable to cook with or use as a skin care product, it must go through a deodorizing process. Just something to keep in mind.The balm is quite rich going onto the skin, I would recommend using it when your skin is still most receptive to moisture like right after a shower or washing your face. If you feel the balm isn’t absorbing into your skin I would suggest warming your hands under warm water and while your fingers are still wet, apply the balm to the desired area of the body. I use this technique when I use my finishing oils on my face and it helps to warm the product enough to where you feel like it’s not just sitting on top of the skin, its actually able to melt into your skin.The Earth Guru balm is also completely UNSCENTED for those wondering, it has no residual smell and it doesn’t smell like those products out there that claim to be unscented but still have a chemical smell to them. This balm is completely nothing, nada, no smell whatsoever.For the price, I feel this is a great deal considering other companies sell their balm at the same price point for half of the amount. As far as the effectiveness of this balm goes, only time will tell. But in the short time I have been able to try it, it is something I would add to my regular skin care routine, just not every night, it is a tad heavy for what I am looking for.

Melts into your skin
This beef tallow is incredible! It is so heavy. It is thick in your hands and just melts into your skin as you apply it to your body. It smells surprisingly good for beef tallow. It works really well to soften skin. It does take awhile to absorb so be prepared to wait awhile before you get dressed.
