How did we get our start?
We were working as lifeguards on the island of Tavarua, Fiji. We couldn’t find a sunscreen that could keep up with our active lifestyle, so we created a surf-specific sunscreen brand.
What makes our products unique?
Our sunscreen has a unique formula that’s designed to stay on in water and not burn your eyes. It also doubles as a foundation makeup and stays visible on your skin.

Subtle smell, minimal taste
I am a chapstick fiend. I am extremely picky about chapstick. I have millions of tubes everywhere: purse, car, jacket pockets, you name it. I have sun sensitive lips, meaning if they burn, I get blisters and it suuuucks. I am always on the lookout for chapstick with sunscreen, but most of if tastes horrible so I don’t use it. This is the first one I have found in years that does not taste like sunscreen! I can taste a tiny bit of the flavor, but it is so subtle and does not last long at all. I ususally like unscented, but these scents are pleasant and for the spf 30 that doesn’t taste bad?? I will take the scent! Please don’t stop making this! It’s perfect for all California sun days!

The best
I am very picky when it comes to using chapstick. This chapstick has helped me through long day hikes. Not all chapstick is great when used outdoors. This brand is!! I like it because the flavors are wonderful and it has SPF. I don’t find myself having to use it all the time when I am outdoors.

Great mineral lip protection
This is the best lip sun protection I’ve ever used. Feels hydrating, goes on smooth and doesn’t contain any weird chemicals. Will definitely be my go to going forward!

Stings sometimes
If you have sensitive skin it can sting if your lips are already chapped or burnt when you put it on. I’ve had to remove it before because couldn’t take the stinging.However.. when my lips are in good shape.. this is the best SPF lip balm I’ve ever used. It protects better and looks better than any others I’ve tried.

Nice and smooth, mineral formula and reef safe
I like these, I wanted a mineral sunscreen that didn’t cost a fortune, and this product fits the bill. They are flavored, but subtly, not overpowering. Goes on smooth. The brand makes surfing sunscreen as well, which is encouraging.

Wanted extra sun protection on my hikes. Seems to work. Texture is good. I’m not a fan of flavored/scented chapsticks is the only down side.

Finally!
I’ve been looking for a chapstick with safe sunscreen that doesn’t give my mouth that bitter taste. This one checks all the boxes! It does have a slight white hue but it’s not an issue for me and it does seem to fade. I’m looking for sun protection not fancy lips during outdoor sports and recreation. The scents/flavors are nice and light!
