I bought it for the color, unfortunately it’s nothing like the picture.. it’s a warm tone that isn’t me. It does go on smoothly but I won’t be wearing it

These lip-coloring-sticks fall somewhere between lip balm and lipstick. These are NOT lip stains. I have both in my bag and intend to leave them there permanently; they’re a fantastic everyday choice for the “natural” look, both in color and dewy appearance. The unfiltered pic shows the Dusty Pink in direct natural light on a cloudy day; my actual lip color is very pale pink with a bluish undertone (aka, I always look cold. LOL).Here’s my rundown of the good and not-so-good:The good:–Colors are soft when applied, equating to no harsh lines or over-application in one spot versus another. With a pronounced cupid’s bow, which makes it much easier to apply quickly without obviously messing up.–The sheerness of the lipstick/balm allows the colors to blend with your lip’s color. Again, producing a gentle and natural appearing color.–The lipstick/balm is not super sticky. My hair did not need to be liberated from lips, and when swiping any hair that did get a little caught, the color did not streak onto my face or stay in my hair.–The lipstick/balm colors were true to the colors in the pictures.–At no point did these get dry, and not once have they flaked when I’ve worn them.–There’s a lot of product in these, and the size of them is a great value.Possible blessing in disguise:–The lipstick/balm feels a little greasy, not bad greasy, but just a bit more than I’d like. BUT, that may be a good thing when I’m outside in frigid temps this winter and my lips are protected while also not looking blue from feigned hypothermia.My one criticism (but not one that’s a deal breaker):–These wear off a little slower than a specifically moisturizing/SPF lip balm or a specifically shiny lip gloss, but faster than a true lipstick. More applications mean more moisture, so take that with a grain of salt.⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars – GoodMostly satisfied. The product met my expectations with minor issues. A solid choice overall. These lipsticks/balms are a good value and worth it.
