I was looking for a new non slip yoga mat as I was previously using microfiber and it was hindering some movements. This mat caught my eye and I was curious to try it. It arrived safely and securely packaged.My impressions:- the mat is soft, comfortable and has excellent grip- a carrying strap is included- the length is comfortable; it is not as wide as some what I’ve used in the past, but it is convenient to carry around, which is wonderful- the color is neutral, durable and the surface is easy to clean- I use it for a variety of exercises besides yoga, especially lower back flexibility training and balance training for danceThis is a good quality mat that is portable and convenient and is a great value for the money.

The Best Yoga Mat I’ve Ever Used
I’ve tried my fair share of yoga mats over the years, but this is by far the best one I’ve ever used.It comes inside a box, and inside that it comes tightly wrapped in plastic (the plastic has adhesive, so you just need to find the seam and it peels right open), so the yoga mat comes out of the packaging in perfect shape. It even has a strap included, so you can easily keep it rolled up and travel with it.The color is beautiful, exactly like the listing photos. The brand logo is nicely imprinted into the one end, small enough to be a detail but not a focus. Both sides have a great wavy, grooved texture, and the mat itself is made of a stronger and more rubbery/grippy material than any others I’ve ever tried. The material and texture combination gives it better grip both to the floor and to your feet. It’s a pretty thick mat, and the material holds up better than cheaper mats, so your body doesn’t sink as hard into the floor.I’ve got nothing but hard floors in my house, and I’ve always struggled to make it through some of my floor workouts because the yoga mats I’ve owned were just never quite enough. I had almost given up the search, but this one has finally solved all my problems!My workouts have gotten so much easier and more effective with this mat (especially my yoga–my stretches can get so much deeper now!) I’m so thankful to have been introduced to this brand. I will definitely be getting my next yoga mat from them as well! The search for the perfect mat is finally over!

Padding is good, not super sticky, strap is handy
I’ve been looking for a new yoga mat and want one that’s thicker than my old one. I thought the texture of this one would also be helpful in keeping me from sliding around.I used the mat in a carpeted room for yoga. My other mats are stored rolled up and when I open them, they are a bit folded still but putting them with the folded edge down helps keep them flat. This one stayed kind of folded. I’m not sure if it may relax over time.The thickness of the mat provides good cushioning for those moves where say, your knee is down or your back might need extra padding. Unfortunately, the surface of it was slippery for me. Even though it’s textured, it isn’t sticky. I did wipe it down with a wet cloth a couple of times and so far that hasn’t helped. I may try washing it with soap and water and see if that makes a difference. My old yoga mats are definitely more “sticky.” My feet didn’t move around but my hands moved quite a bit, like in down dog pose.I do really like this mat and can see using it outdoors too. I wouldn’t necessarily use it on concrete but it’d be fine on dirt or grass. I haven’t used the strap yet though it is good to have.
