Beautiful dress, well made, good length for this short girl!
I got this dress with a couple of upcoming holiday parties in mind. I am so boring when it comes to dressing for the holidays, and I wanted something a little more festive and colorful. I tend to wear mainly gray, black, navy, olive green, and brown and I decided to break out of the mold and try something a little more colorful so I chose this burgundy color.First of all, I should mention that this dress is 100% polyester, and that is not something I typically gravitate towards, but I figured I would give it a shot. When I took it out of the package, it was a little shinier than I expected, and pretty wrinkled. I wound up throwing it in the dryer with a clean damp washcloth (my secret system for dewrinkling clothes quickly) for 20 minutes and it came out fairly wrinkle free and a little bit less shiny, which I liked.I am a little bit under 5’2” tall, and I weigh 125 pounds and I got the size Small. I am usually a Medium in everything (dress size 6 or 8 depending on the dress) but tend to get swallowed up in long dresses and the sleeves are usually way too long for me, so I was hoping with the small that I would have a better fit. Fortunately, I was right – the sleeves were long, but not too long since they are gathered at the wrist, and they have a very nice flowy look to them. I love the tiered bottom of the skirt, and it hit me at a perfect length. I could see this being really cute with boots as well as heels.To me, the color was more of a muted wine red rather than a deep burgundy, but I wasn’t mad about it. The style of the dress looks exactly like the photos in the listing. I feel that it is well-made and well constructed, and of course I love that it has pockets! It is very feminine without being fussy.One thing I will say is that the bodice part is very fitted, and if you have a little tummy like I do, it really clings to it.. it’s not a dress that I feel like I could eat a big Thanksgiving meal in and feel comfortable, it would show right away. That being said, I think this would be even prettier with a belt or you could even go Renaissance-inspired with a lace up corset-style belt. I actually think that this would make a great Renaissance festival dress with the right accessories.I really like this dress and I’m looking forward to playing around with it and with some accessories and seeing if I can style it a few different ways.

Beautiful & Versatile Dress for Various Occasions
It’s a beautiful dress and I was extremely pleased & impressed with the fabric and the light weight feel. It has kind of a sheen and elegant look. It is even machine wash & tumble dry. It does have to be ironed for first use or washed and dried to get the lines out.I ordered the army green and it felt true to color. It is the perfect outfit for the office, a party or a more casual event based on the shoes and jewelry you pair it up with.I really loved how the waste design upper body made you look slimmer but based on my body, I didn’t care for how the bust looked on my body. I had hoped to wear the sleeves down on my shoulders but it was not shown that way in the pictures and sadly it doesn’t work to wear that way as the material doesn’t gather correctly to allow.I think the price is reasonable for the quality of material and versatility of use but sadly it wasn’t for me because of how it made my busts look with the design but would recommend others to try as it may be beautiful based on their body shape.

Fabulous Fall Dress. Get It!
For reference, I’m 5’8”, wear a size 6 and I ordered a Medium. The material is lightweight and cool. If it’s cold outside, I recommend wearing tights or a slip underneath, as this dress won’t keep you warm. I styled it with boots and received numerous compliments at work. The smocking isn’t restrictive. It fits me perfectly, and my bra size is 34D.One thing about a square neckline is that it can reveal the top of your bra near the corners and the bra strap. I had no issues with this dress. It was borderline with my bra straps, but when I pulled the dress over them, it stayed in place. I didn’t have to constantly adjust it throughout the day. I love the rich hunter green color. It’s a flattering fit and look. Additionally, the elastic and ruffle at the cuffs aren’t too tight. When I pushed the sleeve up, the elastic didn’t leave marks on my arm or become uncomfortable, and it stayed in place. I have long arms, and the length was perfect for me.I got the packaging wrinkles out by spritzing the dress with water and then placing it in the dryer on medium heat for about 10 minutes. It came out completely wrinkle-free. These pictures were taken after 10pm, after I had worn the dress all day at work, then gone out to dinner and a movie. Impressive! It’s a perfect fall dress, and you’ll love it!

Dress feels incredibly cheap. 55 bucks for this is a scam. Extremely disappointing. Fabric is full of static. Clings to legs. Neckline is strange, very high up. Very unflattering.

Fitted & Flowy Peasant Dress
This is such a cute and flattering peasant style dress! The material is stretchy, soft, and thin through the bodice, but thick in the skirt. The shade is a lovely olive green, and there’s a soft sheen to it that makes it look like a glimmering satin, although it’s not.My measurements are 45(34m), 32, 45, and I got this in the size L. I typically wear an XL in more fitted dresses, but sizes down as shirred dresses tend to run a bit larger on me in the XL sizes, because my bust pushes the fabric away from my stomach. I love the fit of this! The dress has a square neckline, flowy sleeves that cinch at the wrist, and a shirred bodice. It’s form-fitting without being tight, and shows a very little bit of cleavage across the top. There’s a small but thick band underneath the shirring that slightly emphasizes the waist. The skirt is gently pleated and flows outward. The fit as a whole is flattering, slimming, and the cut falls at the correct placement on my body. It hugs my sides and emphasizes my waist, while the skirt drapes over the lower tummy area. I’m 4’11” and the hem falls just above my feet, making this perfectly fine to wear with flats or sandals.Overall, it’s a very beautiful dress! It’s perfect for the spring, summer, and warmer fall days. 10/10!
