Love Love Love It! Worth the extra cost!
Me: Very fine, slightly below shoulder length hair that I color every few months, and hair that is flyaway and prone to damage from both years of color and its fineness. I’m not expert using hair tools, either. I wanted a bit of wave movement to my hair, and it seemed like a curling wand would be a good tool. I researched endlessly, and first decided I preferred a wand to the clamp type. I have an older cheap tapered type wand (3/4″ to 1″) that I just don’t like. Recently I ordered another cheap wand type that was also tapered but larger (1″ to 1-1/4″) and it arrived in a damaged box, obviously a previous return that was sent to me as if new, and with a cheap flat bent up cord. (Sent it back the same day).Enough of the cheap ones. I read about the MINT wands and liked what I read and saw, so I decided to (gulp!) spend more money on this one. It costs more than the cheaper ones, but not nearly as much as the big names you see in Ulta etc. I got the 1-1/4″ size, and that produces just the wave level I wanted….visible, fairly loose, not extreme. I’m not looking for tighter curls, and if I were, I would probably get the 1″ barrel or perhaps 3/4″.I like everything about this Mint wand. Beautiful, solid construction. I like the rubber handle, which is easier to hold. The longer length of the barrel makes it SO much easier to use than the shorter ones I’ve tried. I much prefer the straight barrel to the tapered ones, which somehow make the hair fall off the wand while using it. I like the little dial to set the heat. I wanted a wand that had a lower heat option to protect my fine hair, and after experimenting I found that I liked the 310 level best because it made the waves but in less time that the two lower settings. I probably won’t go higher than 310. There is an on-off switch rather than a button that can be accidentally pressed while using. It heats extremely fast…a red light blinks while heating and becomes solid when it reaches the heat you have set. The cord is a heavier, round type you would expect from a device that heats up (the cheaper brand cords are flat and horrible, and get kinky and bent). For a non-professional like me, I found this longer straight wand so much easier to use. A protective glove is included, but I didn’t need it. One thing I noticed was that the display ad says “4 heaters” but the box itself said there are two. The wand seems to heat evenly whatever the case. Finally, the high quality construction is even reflected in the very top notch, heavy box it came in. Overall, it’s a very classy well made product that I hope has good longevity.

The wand works great. There are multiple settings for all hair types. It heats up fast and the length of the wand makes it easy and fast to curl your hair. I’m extremely happy with my purchase. It is very lightweight and the curls are effortless due to how long the wand is. You can save so much time with the extra length. It comes with a heat resistant glove as well.

great curling iron
this is a great quality iron. It took a little practice to get used to using, but once you get the hang of it, it is really great. I love that no matter how you twist the hair, or how big a section you use, it always comes out great. I have fine long hair, and it used to take me forever to curl my hair. With this iron, no matter if I do only a few random curls or my whole head it always ends up looking good in such a small amount of time, and the styles lasts all day. Highly recommend this iron.

Good customer service
This curling wand caught fire after having it for 6 months, however the customer service was great they issued a full refund and sent a new curling wand. They state this is the first time this has happened but the customer service is very supportive and helpful.

Absolutely in love with this wand! I have long hair and with the extra long barrel size it makes it so easy to use and I can do my hair so much quicker! The curls it makes are very soft and bouncy and last me the whole day. It was really nice it came with a glove to use as well to protect your hands from the heat. The wand heats up quickly and has temperature control too which is very simple to use and figure out. Without a doubt I highly recommend!

I am obsessed with this hair curler, it’s a game changer for me when I want to get dolled up. It heats up quickly and, and the barrel size is perfect for creating soft waves or tighter curls, depending on what look I want. I like the larger soft curls and with this my curls come out smooth, bouncy, and shiny. I have incredibly frizzy hair and usually the frizz stays but I was surprised this left me frizz-less!
