A huge hit. A must buy!
I work at a desk job and my neck hurts from staring at the computer all day. A coworker has something that’s similar to this but it’s not quite the same. I was browsing on Amazon and found these and omg! It is amazing. Definitely massages your muscles and with the arm loop, you can adjust the strength. It is very sturdy and bulky but otherwise it is fine because it is effective. I kind of wish I knew about these before I went to get a massage two weeks ago. These are so much better. You can adjust which part you want to be massaged and you can also set it to put out heat. This was worth every penny and I’m so happy that I found this. I showed it around the office and had my coworkers try it and they also fell in love. One even asked me to send her the link so she can buy it on prime and would have it delivered that night. This is a perfect gift for anyone that works a desk job or sit in front of the computer all day. Super easy to use and very durable. The massage balls are well designed to hit any sore areas. Great job in making this!

A great all faux leather neck/back massager
I really like this Nektech Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager for one main reason — it has faux leather everywhere. A couple years ago I bought another brand that had partly faux leather but also a part was a fabric. The fabric did not hold up so I decided I wanted a brand that was all faux leather. I also had one a few years ago that I do not remember, but it wore out. I know that this is for the neck and back but I find it great for also massaging my legs. I put one foot on a chair and it’s easy and feels great to run this massager up and down my leg. Then the other leg. It turns off automatically after 15 minutes. I usually press the button and run it for another 5 minutes, no more. I do not want to burn it out. I actually do not like it so much for my back, but it’s great for massaging my neck and shoulders and legs.I have another massager — a rectangle with 2 sets of balls — that I love for my back. The two work really well for my legs, back and neck. After I massage my legs, I use the flat massager for my back, 15 min + my extra 5. Then, this neck massager has “rested” enough for me to use it to massage my neck and shoulders. This massager has a zipper all around it but I have not touched it so cannot comment on that.

Great for neck pain
Overall, this is a good neck massager. It feels like actual hands are massaging your neck. However, it is definitely specific to the neck and does not work as a massager for any other body part like the shoulders or back. Also, if you lean back against a chair while using this massager it can be a little uncomfortable. So make sure to sit up straight while using it.

Surprisingly gentle but effective massage, great for chronic tension
This isn’t at all what I expected from a shiatsu massager. Most I’ve tried in the past felt like I was being pummeled, but this one delivers strong pressure without being harsh. The massage effectiveness is impressive, and the vibration level and heat make it even better.I use it about three to four times a week, and it’s made a real difference in how my neck, shoulders, and upper back feel. The hand supports help you adjust where you place them, and the buttons located on the side of the unit allow you to easily adjust the intensity. The whole thing is simple to use. The quality of the massage is honestly amazing. It’s even been helping with my musculoskeletal vertigo, which I didn’t expect.

Actually works!
Of all the gimmicky things I’ve bought over the years, I really thought this would just be yet another one. Boy, was I wrong. It really works. The kneading motion is hard enough to actually do something and it is quiet. I’m not sure why they give the little velcro strap that does absolutely nothing, but I’m really glad I bought this thing.

The best thing I’ve bought in ages! I suffer from migraine headaches and lower back pain, this has been such a blessing to have. I use it while sitting at my desk, working. I also use it in bed or while watching something in the lr. It’s light and easy to carry. The warm up feature is so helpful to help knead out those pesky knots and soften the tightness. It doesn’t overheat. The reverse direction option works super well. It has speed options that make it so convenient for altering the flow. I don’t normally review things because I generally just forget to, to be honest. But, this has helped me so much. I just had to review it hoping it’ll help someone else.

Stopped Working After 3 Months
It was really great at first, easy to use, and massaged really well! Then after 3 months it just stopped working. Purchased this July 2025 and just stopped this October 2025. It’s a shame because my wife and I really enjoyed using this to relieve the days stress away on these old/young bones…

It sits on your shoulders and the massage balls rotate around each other to give you quite a strong massage. I haven’t used it anywhere other than my shoulders but I notice that I no longer have a creaking neck. It heats up too but not sure if this is really necessary. The cycle is for 15 minutes which I find perfect. Well boxed and easy to understand instructions. I have it permanently plugged in next to my sofa and use it 3 – 4 times a week. Nice bit of kit. Would recommend.

I recently purchased the Nekteck Cordless Neck and Back Massager, expecting a convenient and easy-to-use device. While the massager itself works well and provides good relief for muscle tension, I was disappointed to find that it does not come with a charger. This was not clearly mentioned in description. Require a separate charger purchase (5V/ 24watt), not usually found at home, adding extra cost.If you’re considering buying this, be aware that you need to purchase a compatible charger separately.

I’ve been shackled to my computer doing research, and for months I’ve been getting a bit of massage relief from a tennis ball in a pillow case that I put between my chair and my back. It’s great, cheap way to really get into back muscles. However, there was no way to get the shoulders and neck massaged. I was so tight in those areas and have visited osteopath and masseuse for help. I saw this in a celebrity Instagram post and the celebrity (Kristin Bell filmed by her hubby) looked blissed out. That plus the low price got me interested in this device. It’s excellent. After the first two massages I felt sore and bruised (in a good way). I’ve been doing three sessions a day now and just feel looser and more pliable, and I feel a huge difference in range of motion. I can turn my head further and I don’t have that tension between my shoulder blades that I’ve been accustomed to. Next week I visit my osteopath, and I’ll see what she says about whether this device is helping with my neck and shoulder issues. I think it is. I feel I can stand straighter with my shoulders pulled back more comfortably.I truly look forward to each session with this device. I’m very careful about only doing one session at a time to heed the overheat warning. I want this thing to last!!My aunt has a chair massager that I considered, but the design of this one really makes shoulder massage possible in ways that other devices like hers can’t. You can control how firm the pressure is just by pulling out releasing with you arms. Very clever.Excellent purchase. Excellent value.
