Love these shoes!
Bought these shoes for a trip to Yellowstone. They really were very comfortable right out of the box. Just a good fit (got my regular size) and nothing rubbing my foot the wrong way or anything. I enjoyed wearing them the whole trip and really did not want to take them off, lol. Not sure what it is that makes them so comfortable, but they are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I don’t go hiking often but have worn them to festivals and other outdoor events. Will probably be heading to a few national parks next year so will definitely be wearing these!

Winner winner!!!
These are the perfect hiking/trail running shoe. So, so cute and comfortable right out of the box! I wear an 8.5 but usually go with a 9 for hiking or running but with these the 9 was huge! I ordered the 8.5 and they fit just right. Quality seems to be pretty damn good. Great tread. Love them!

Good hiking shoe
I was gonna buy Merrels. Glad I didn’t. These Nortive 8 Hiking shoes are comfortable right out of the box. Good grip on the soles. I went hiking on wet granite and did not slip. There is a little cushion but very little arch support so I may put other insoles in them. They do not look cheap and they seem well made. Breathable. Affordable! I will buy from this company again.

Absolutely worth it for the price!
I rarely write reviews sadly, but I had to for these shoes! I spent a week in Sedona, hiking roughly 7-8 miles some days and these shoes were FANTASTIC! The hikes out here were not for the faint of heart and there was plenty of rock climbing. Comfortable and sturdy hiking shoes, 10/10 would recommend!

I would definitely recommend for the money!
These shoes are so light and comfortable! I absolutely love them! I need some for hiking and these are perfect!Size fit perfect! Easy to wipe off!

Comfy, but big flaws
I ordered baked in other people saying it fit small. That’s wrong. It fits true to size with a medium cushion Smartwool hiking sock. Also, my feet are size 6.5 and neutral as far as arch, etc. My arch hurt in less than 5 minutes of wearing these tontry them on in my house. Also, they were digging into my foot/ankle where the tongue meets the top of the shoe, you know where you tie the laces, but the corner on both feet even after adjustments, there was an issue and it was already slightly big. The rest of the shoe is really comfortable, though and they look nice. I bought on a recommendation of a woman hiker in YT and I really wanted to like them, but they didn’t even compare to my cheap avia trail runners I bought at a ‘discount’ store years ago. Maybe they’ll work for you, but a cramp in my arch in less than 5 minutes of just standing in my living room is not a something I’m wearing outside anywhere.

Better than I anticipated for the cost of the shoe
I read some other reviews saying the shoes were fine for light hiking but probably not sturdy enough for more rigorous hiking. Let me tell you that is wrong. I wore these to Oregon and the whole point of the trip was to do extensive hiking. I wore these over some pretty rough and rocky terrain and we logged in almost 15000 steps per day. I even scaled a few rocks to get to the top and had to hike up and down some pretty steep inclines. These held up great and didn’t have me sliding over the gravel. They were very comfortable and I didn’t even get a chance to break them in before I left. I can’t speak on how waterproof they are since we I didn’t get them wet but they offered great support and I wasn’t dying to take them off at the end of the day. For the cost these are a steal.

True to size, at least for me.
No break in time. Comfortable and proper sized. I wear 9, these arena true nine. There is even space for my arch supports. Have not worn them hiking, but great walking shoe. Like the color too. Just as pictured. Good rubber sole, sturdy. It is hard to buy shoes on line, these are a good purchase. I have about 18 pairs of shoes, all are size 9, all fit. These do, too.

MatchouPitchou –
vraiment belles et confortables par contre pas du tout imperméables comme prévu, pieds trempés rien qu’en traversant un pré humide.La semelle se décolle déjà à l arrière après 2 mois.
