Great quality for the price!
I’m a long distance runner and I’m always looking for shorts that wont fall apart on my long trainingn runs or at races, that are comfortable, and that don’t ride up. These shorts check all of those boxes with some added benefits. The fit is really nice and feels supportive without being too tight. They’re also made really well for the low price point. I was a little concerned about the material when I purchased because a lot of the high end running shorts I’ve purchased are made with slicker more compression style fabric. My main concern was that the more cotton-y feel of these shorts would lead to chaffing, but I ended up liking these way better than the other materials I’ve worn. I ran in them for 12 hours during a race in the dead of summer in Texas and didn’t expereince any chaffing. They were also way easier to deal with when I had to use the restroom than the slick compression fabrics are that stick to you like a wet suit once you’re sweaty. Highly recommend!

For the price ($14.99-$17.99) absolutely getting a bit more than what you’re paying for. This is from my 2nd or 3rd re-order (they keep selling me on new colors) and the tie-die/marbled colored shorts are the softest and coziest of them all. The black cheetah? snake? print ones feel thinner than the other solid color shorts, but are also very comfortable.I bought these for walking my dog, my treadmill desk, and my hiit/cardio/strength workouts. Decent length, mid ‘stomach flattening’ strength, and vibrant colors.The ‘diamond’ stitch area IS a bit tiny so just know that if you’ve had issues with other stretch fit shorts – you may have same issues here.No problems after washing (I’ve washed mine maybe 3-4 times each?) and the pockets are perfect sized and made of the same material as the rest of the shorts. I’ve had a few made of thinner quality fabric and those suck.I now own somewhere between 7-10 different colors and am barely holding myself back from buying my ‘missing colors’.I do not own the highlighter green or light pink unfortunately as other reviewers showed they were a bit see-through.

There’s really no need to spend $70 for shorts – you’ll love these
I love these gym shorts! I got the dark blue green and black in a medium and the fit is perfect, and the quality seems good (haven’t washed yet, just tried on). I walked into Athleta yesterday for shorts like this and couldn’t bring myself to spend $69 plus tax for shorts I’m going to sweat in. These $14.99 ones were a nice alternative. Will come back with notes if they don’t hold up in the wash, but I always lay flat to dry my work out gear, so fingers crossed these last at least a year.I’m 5’4, 135 pounds and typically wear a small or medium in shirts, skirts, dresses, 6-8 in jeans, and the Medium in these gym shorts fit very well. I love the length. They’re not like the rest of my awkwardly long biker shorts.Update: I’ve had these for a month now (or almost that) and have worn both pairs quite a bit and man do they really ride up during a run. I’m constantly having to putting them out of my crotch. I don’t even have that issue with my target brand biker shorts. I wish these would just stay in place. I also noticed, once I’ve worn them all day, the bottom hem with curl up a bit, like it’s loosened from the day? It’s weird and it goes back to normal after I’ve washed and laid flat to dry for next time’s wear. But still, for these reasons I’ve knocked a star off. They’ve held up nicely after being washed a dozen times and haven’t begun to pill or anything. I also appreciate that I can hold my cell phone safely in the pockets (a feature not all my workout shorts have). But for the crotch-riding/wedgie creating and hem roll up reasons, I wanted to update my review. Regardless, I’m still happy I’ve only paid a fraction of the cost from more expensive brands. I might consider splurging for those after these are worn to shreds.

Very Comfortable
I absolutely love these Gym People gym shorts. They are very comfortable and lightweight. I am impressed with the quality and the colors. The side pockets are a great fit for my phone or key fob. They wash beautifully and I do let them air dry. These do run true to size.

Decent shorts but too much ride-up during workouts
I bought a few pairs of 5-inch workout shorts to test out, mainly looking for something that wouldn’t ride up and had comfortable fabric. The waist coverage on these was perfectly fine — no issues there. The fabric itself felt a little off. It’s a mix between regular breathable workout material and polyester, which isn’t 100% comfortable but still doable for exercise.My biggest concern was ride-up, so I did a squat test. After 5 reps, the shorts had ridden up about 3 fingers’ width, which was more than I’d want for regular training. Because of that, these didn’t fully pass for me. Overall, they’re okay for light workouts or casual wear, but not ideal if you’re really active.

Good fit
This is the third pair I’ve purchased. They are great. Length is perfect, upper mid thigh is where they fall and waist lands right below belly button. They are snug but not tight, won’t leave some awkward bulge at waist or thigh. First pair lasted for over two years leading me to purchase two more pairs.

The best yoga shorts ever!!!
Oh my gosh, you have to try these yoga shorts! They’re so soft and comfortable, perfect for working out or wearing under dresses. I love them! I’m curvy and have a big butt, so the material is super stretchy and not see-through. I got the black leopard print ones. They’re a great deal for the price, and they’re also true to size.
