Fun and facilitates connection
Fun activity for kids to address social anxiety. Great icebreaker activity for play therapy, as well as fun for families to try at home.

Light hearted fun!
I don’t often write product reviews but I wanted to share our positive experience with this game. My adult son suffers from clinical depression and often isolates himself from family time. Although this game is designed to be therapeutic, it doesn’t present as therapy, yet it hits all the marks in a fun, pleasant way. This game had him laughing, being silly, talking, and stepping way out of his comfort zone. When we finished the game, we all had ice cream, continued the laughter and conversations. Then he asked to play it again – this was an absolute first!! If you have a loved one of any age, who needs some social encouragement and some laughs along the way, buy this game!

Family Game Night
Purchased as a gift two games for two separate families with children ranging in ages from 6 yrs old to 15 yrs old. Both the parents and the kids had so much fun playing this game together. The grandmother also told me she played the game too and enjoyed it immensely.

Kid-Approved, Parent-Tolerated
Six and seven year old love this game and ask to play it nightly, and the three year old can sort of get in the mix.Basically, everyone get some tokens to give out and as each person takes a turn doing a talent from a card draw, the others dole out the tokens to rate the execution of the talent. Whether your talent is “draw”, “sing”, “perform”, or “move” is determined by dice. After four rounds, whoever has the most tokens wins. The pros are game play is easy, and yes, the kids do laugh. The downsides are the rating system leads to a predictable set of winners and dancing around fairness and preserving feelings in handing out points, so it is not really meaningfully competitive. Also, the cards are repetitive, and many have a “you choose” quality that requires you to develop your own prompts. As a regular game-nighter, I like a family game that is either explicitly collaborative or competitive and feels a little less like homework.
