Without the Mat, the elliptical machine moved around. With the Mat, it does not. I am very happy with the Mat.I have to say that the elliptical machine itself really does not do much serious exercise. I am shooting to do it 45-60 minutes a day while at the computer to complement my walking (both on ground and treadmill) and stationary cycling. I suppose it does some good, but not sure how much. That is not the fault of the Mat, though.

Good leg exerciser for elderly folks as well as young
We received the Ellipse leg Exerciser quickly. It is a very sturdy machine and easy to use. M y husband & I are both in our 8O’s. It is light weight and can use in small spaces. We like that we can use at home. I would recommend this machine. It was such a good value also.

A little small
Nice mat. It was kind of small for the first leg exerciser that I bought, it just barely fit on the mat. Worked well to stop the slip on a hardwood floor. Unfortunately I had to return the first exerciser I bought for a different model and this mat is too small for the new model.

Need to be aware of where you’re going to set this up!Where I put it under the dining room table won’t allow me to pull the chair up to the table where I like to have it!It is pretty silent. I have tried it out and believe it will help my legs.

sitting elliptical slides in spite of using this mat
been looking for over a year for a sitting elliptical item and finally settled on one. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now for home use. the other reviews indicated the floor mat was needed to prevent the unit sliding around, so I purchased this one. it does nothing to prevent the unit from sliding around. unless using the lowest speed very passively, the unit moves. using the fastest speed, I had to reposition the elliptical 12-15 times in the 30-minute session. since it has taken me a year to decide on a purchase, I did not want to bother going thru all that again…so to make it work I place a box of heavy books in front of it, so it will not slide…not ideal but I only have to reposition it a couple of times now in the 30-minute session if I am using the highest speed. at least the mat is sturdy, large enough and is preventing friction on my rug, so I will continue to use the mat.

Great matt, use it for my pedal bike, keeps it stable and in place while doing my rehab. So much better than the one that came with the bike.Now I’m not afraid that the bike will slide when I push down on the pedals, also thicker. Can be used on both sides, each side is different, so whatever works the best for you. I have the black side on top.I use it on hardwood floors.I’m satisfied with my purchased, and price is reasonable too for the quality.

I’ve only just started using the machine but so far so good.I like the different settings for walking types ie speed walking, jogging, etc. I was a bit disappointed that there is no setting for intensity.Machine is very sturdy but not heavy. All in all it’s going to do what I need.
