This mat fell short of my expectations. I bought it specifically to do hot Pilates. I found myself slipping a ton and it gets SO DIRTY at the tiniest touch. It looked like I’d had it two years right after I did one ten minute yoga session. The bag it came in tore the first time I used it. UPDATE: okay I was using it upside down because my Pilates room is so dark and I didn’t even realize. Now that it’s the other way, it does have a better grip! Also, it does get dirty very easily as I stated previously but I’m able to wipe it away and once it dries it’s mostly clean. If you get self conscious from sweat stains beware! I will be purchasing a new mat because I need one with fabric, but I changed my previous rating from a 2 to a 4.

I’m not a yoga expert. I haven’t been doing yoga for years. So I don’t know much about yoga equipment, but I looked at many mats and researched a good bit before buying this mat. I’ve used it a few times and it seems to be exactly what I wanted. It’s thick enough to provide a bit of cushioning where I need it, especially my hands when doing a downward dog or a plank. Sometimes I fold the end of the mat over to provide more cushioning.I honestly didn’t think that the lines and decorations on the mat would help me at all (again, I’m no expert, I’m just happy to get into the right position by the time the instructor is moving on to the next pose!), but I actually find myself lining up my feet and hands with the markings on the mat.Also, the mat seems pretty durable so far. I’ve had to scoot my feet in one direction then the other, pivot, slide, etc., (not just step, but actually move my feet across the surface of the mat, which is not easy since the mat provides friction so you don’t slip on your sweat) and the mat has not torn yet. I’m a pretty heavy girl, so I was pleasantly surprised that the weight pressing down from my feet onto the mat didn’t tear it in any way. And the back of the mat grips my laminate floors well. It doesn’t slide at all.It seems to be easy to clean. I have dogs, so I sweep and then Swiffer my floors with a dry pad and then a wet pad before I work out. But there is inevitably still some dog hair and dirt left behind that get on my mat. It looks like it goes away when I just wipe it off with my hand when I notice it in the middle of my workout.I got my daughter one as well and she loves it, too!

I love this yoga mat. The pink colour is lovely and the mat is cushioned enough to do the floor routines. It can be slippery though if you do hot yoga (I put a yoga towel mattress on it and it’s perfect). Pretty durable and the length is standard which is great.

This mat is nice and thick – I have used it for both yoga and to also help my elderly dog walk after surgery. Very well grippy and cushioned.

Garde sa forme arrondit lorsque déroulé. Glisse et donc je devais mettre une serviette, mais elle faisait des plis et donc inconfortable. Je me suis acheté un autre tapis. Peux faire l’affaire pour débutant ou peu d’utilisation.
