Good smell that lasts
The first day I tried it I did not like it. I couldn’t really smell it much right after spraying. I had sprayed it on my wrists and sides of neck. My partner also tried it and couldn’t smell it much. He had sprayed it on clothes. Once it settled a little, it reminded me of cloud, which i am not a fan. I had to shower soon so I didn’t really use it for long on the first day. But I was disappointed with it at first.2 days later (yesterday) I decided to give it a try and use it in the morning before work. I only sprayed it on my wrists. This time I had a different experience.I ended up really loving this scent. It smelled different than the first few minutes. I am pretty new to fragances so I didn’t much know about how there’s different notes on fragances and how the smell can differ after wearing it for a while compared to right away.Yesterday is when I wore it all day, and I just woke up and I can still smell it on my wrists. I really love it now.I also like that it is a unisex scent. I did not over spray so I didn’t experience any dizziness or anything, not sure if that’d happen.I live in a cold place and was looking for a winter fragance and this one is good for that.The aesthetic of the bottle is simple yet nice. I like how it is a minimalistic look. I think the cap is magnetic, I like that.I have never tried baccarat rouge 540, but I’ve heard and read online how this one is similar and even lasts longer, if you are interested in something similar. The price is so much more affordable too.

I should be gatekeeping this one, instead I will write this review so all of you can smell as good as I do. If you like BR 540, you will LOVE THIS. This is the most complimented fragrance in my collection. This lasts ALL day and then some. If you like the smell of BR 540 without the price tag, this is what you are looking for. Not like any of the other “dupes” out there that claim to smell similar and then are just a watered down disappointment. This one is a constant compliment getter for me. People can smell this before they see you. The scent trail of this will follow you around all day and people won’t ask what you are wearing, b/c they already know. All they say is OMG your Baccarat smells so Good! It can just be your little secret that it’s not (well yours and now the entire internet). I have owned the original once and since I have only bought this 375 times. Every time I feel I am running out of “backstock”, I order another bottle. I love fragrance, I have so many. None get me the compliments this does. None last as long. None leave a scent trail like this one. IT’S IDENTICAL. I didn’t trust it at first, probably like most of you. Trust… she is THAT girl. I also want to add that it layers beautifully with whatever you want. If you want to make it a little more your own or unique, layer it with ANYTHING. If you want more warmth or vanilla, layer it with Kayali Vanilla 28… smells amazing. You want more fruit? Layer it with anything Cherry… Tom Ford? Sure. The Cherry finery one from Target? Absolutely. Do you want bold and unforgettable? Layer with Creed Aventus. This SMELLS GREAT with any concoction you can come up with. I don’t play or joke when it comes to fragrance. I should be keeping this a secret, but you’re welcome.

Smells great but the scent doesn’t last
I’m so torn about this perfume! I’ve never smelled the real baccarat so I can’t compare it but the smell of this perfume is amazing! But why does that matter when it only lasts 30 mins or so? I soak my body in it after a shower & an hour later there’s only the faintest scent in my hair. It’s expensive when you have to use so much. I’ve went through 1/4 of the bottle in a week. I love the scent but won’t buy again because the scent doesn’t last 😕

Lasts long and smells great
I saw mixed reviews, but smells great! Does smell a little like alcohol at first but evaporates quick and smells great for over a day. Can’t beat the price for something that smells like baccarat 540

Smells very good and subtle. I don’t think the scent lasts very long even after you spray a ton of it on. Would consider this my daily scent preference over being my signature scent of choice.

Last Christmas I decided to treat myself to a bottle of BR540, as I really enjoyed it when I tried it at department stores. It would have a good sillage and lasted all day. I ordered a bottle from Saks Fifth Avenue online, and was excited to try it. What a disappointment! I seriously could not smell it on me right out of the bottle, and NOBODY even noticed or commented. Tried it several days in a row. Nada. Saks don’t normally do refunds on fragrance, but I convinced them to, as it was over $300. I don’t know if it was an old bottle, exposed to heat, a fake or what. Well, I tried this dupe from Dossier and WOW. Ok, it isn’t quite as complex as BR540, but it does have really good projection and staying power, and I don’t notice a difference. I did a couple of squirts this a.m. and it’s 7:30 p.m. as I write this and I am still getting whiffs of it. So… it’s definitely worth the money for me. Keen to try other Dossier dupes now!

My particular bottle lost scent in 3 weeks
Real talk. When I first got it, I was blown away. Scent was a once in a lifetime recognition. Like “ok, I get it. My goodness I get it” and I wore it to a wedding.. everybody said I smelled amazing.3 weeks later I spray it on me and it smells like rubbing alcohol. I thought maybe I was just getting used to it, but it really is just flat, cuz nobody complimenting my smell anymore. Only took 2 sprays and would last over night. Now 5 sprays can’t even get me a look.So yeah. Loved it but not worth the lifespan
